Sapiliège: The naturally insulating panel
Simonin’s 30 years of knowledge and experience in the design and manufacture of timber components for construction, the sandwich panel Sapiliège® which is load bearing offers the complete solution for floors, ceilings and partition walls.
Sapiliège® is constructed of two outer decorative timber faces with a central cork core; this insulation core is available in a selection of thicknesses. Sapiliège® panels are suitable for wide span floors and ceilings. They can also act as a partition wall as well suited for mezzanines, its design allows Sapiliège to adapt to many styles of interior designs: old, contemporary, modern, …
The advantages of Sapiliège® insulation panels
Selecting two high quality sanded wood sides, Sapiliège® allows you to achieve floor and ceiling in one step.
More cost effective than a traditional design, Sapiliège® allows you to lighten your joists and beams.
Sapiliège® benefits from thermal performance and sound insulation. Cork is a rot-proof material robust against rodents or insects. Cork is also hard to ignite.
Species and finishes
The Sapiliège® panels offer selected timber, a wide range of finishes and colours. Available with spruce, oak or ash surface.
