The fitter is the craftsman of the final step: he is the one who brings the project to life on the construction site. Simonin fitters work on the most technical projects, where the precision of the assembly makes all the difference.

Missions

  • Receiving and storing — checking the delivered items, organizing on-site storage in compliance with wood preservation requirements
  • Ground assembly — pre-assembly of sub-assemblies (trusses, frames, panels) before lifting, verification of dimensions and clearances
  • Lifting and installation — coordination with crane operators, slinging of components, positioning and leveling according to installation plans
  • Fixing and tightening — installation of connectors, bolting, torque tightening, verification of Résix® assemblies and plates
  • Construction finishing work — installation of cladding, roofing panels, and secondary timber structural elements
