Design / Production

The Design and Construction team manages projects from start to finish, from the initial sketch to the final handover. It acts as the conductor, coordinating all of Simonin's various trades to serve the client.

Missions

Feasibility studies — technical and economic analysis of the project, proposals for optimized timber alternatives, budget estimate
Design coordination — interface between the architect, the engineering firm, the drafting office, and the production workshops
Manufacturing monitoring — production planning, monitoring of progress in the workshop, anticipation of critical points
Site management — planning of the assembly, coordination of subcontractors, quality control until acceptance
Client dialogue — single point of contact throughout the project, regular reporting, change and contingency management
