The Structural Engineer is responsible for the strength and safety of each structure. A specialist in the mechanics of timber structures, they are involved from the outset and throughout the project to guarantee structural performance.

Missions

  • Structural analysis — modeling of structures (frames, arches, beams, trusses), calculation of stresses and deformations
  • Verification of assemblies — sizing of connectors, bolts, pins, Résix® systems and metal plates
  • Seismic studies — modal analysis, earthquake verification according to EC8 for at-risk areas
  • Fire stability — calculation of the fire resistance of wood sections (charring, residual sections), compliance with REI requirements
  • Dialogue with regulatory bodies — defending technical choices, responding to observations, iterative adjustments
