Self-monitoring & Certifications

The Simonin Testing Laboratory is a rare tool in the French wood industry: an integrated testing space that allows us to validate, test and certify our products and assemblies before their implementation.

Missions

  • Mechanical testing — flexural, shear and pull-out resistance tests on Résix® assemblies, Sapisol® panels and glued laminated elements
  • Validation of new products — test protocols for each innovation (Dalfeu®, Openlam®, wood-metal hybrid solutions), performance measurements and qualification
  • Production quality control — regular sampling in the workshop, verification of bonding, joint strength and dimensional conformity
  • Support for certifications — preparation of technical files for Technical Approvals (ATec), ETAs and CE markings
