Self-monitoring & Certifications

The Simonin Testing Laboratory is a rare tool in the French wood industry: an integrated testing space that allows us to validate, test and certify our products and assemblies before their implementation.

Missions

  • Mechanical testing: bending, shear, and pull-out resistance tests on Résix® assemblies, Sapisol® panels, and glued laminated timber elements
  • New product validation: test protocols for each innovation (Dalfeu®, Openlam®, wood-metal hybrid solutions), performance measurements, and qualification
  • Production quality control: regular sampling in the workshop, verification of bonding, end-joint strength, and dimensional conformity
  • Certification support: preparation of technical files for Technical Approvals (ATec), Technical Assessments (ETA), and CE marking
