The carpenter is the historical heart and soul of Simonin. Since 1967, this craft has been the foundation of everything we do. Simonin carpenters combine traditional woodworking skills with the most advanced technologies.

Missions

  • Laminated wood manufacturing — end-jointing of lamellae, gluing, high-frequency pressing, compliance with EN 14080 standards
  • CNC Machining — programming and operation of 4 CNC machining centers for part sizing, drilling and profiling
  • Workshop assembly — pre-assembly of complex structures, verification of adjustments, marking and identification of parts
  • Finishing – planing, sanding, surface treatment, application of finishes (paint, stain, oil) in the dedicated workshop
  • Quality control — dimensional verification, visual inspection of appearance grading, traceability of each part
