Company description
Present in France and internationally, Simonin designs and manufactures glued laminated timber frames and produces high-end wood components dedicated to construction, for all types of buildings.

Missions
Within the design office (10 draftsmen, 4 calculation engineers):
- Designing timber structures from preliminary sizing to execution.
- Conduct technical adjustments with project stakeholders (internal & external).
- Prepare execution plans (EXE), workshop and site plans (PAC).
- Prepare and monitor manufacturing in connection with the workshop (consistency check, singular points).
Desired profile
- Education: BTS SCBH / Professional Licence Timber Structure (or equivalent).
- Qualities: Communication, teamwork, organization/rigor, technical curiosity.
- An added advantage: Knowledge of material strength, knowledge of Eurocodes (0, 1, 5).
Software
- Cadwork 3D & 2D (proficiency desired).
- AcordBat (concepts).
- Rhino & Grasshopper (liked).
Terms
- Contract: Internship (with the prospect of a permanent contract).
