Mission

Reporting to the engineering director, Amandine PAULIN, the QHSE manager is responsible for the implementation and management of the company’s QHSE policy.

The mission will be structured around several axes, detailed below in a non-exhaustive manner:

Safety, prevention and risk management:

Identify, assess and prevent occupational risks related to the activity

Carry out the documentary, institutional and regulatory management of security: Single Document, Contacts with organizations.

Ensuring the safety of external stakeholders: prevention plans, welcome booklets, welcome register

Ensuring employee safety: PPE management, marking of hazardous areas, training, prevention…

Identify, assess and prevent occupational risks related to the activity

Conduct accident/incident analysis, write reports, implement corrective actions and monitor their effectiveness.

Establish and maintain internal communication and controls: Patrols, security audits, periodic communication, and visual management.

Organize evacuation drills.

Monitor the proper completion of mandatory training courses (electrical authorization, first aid, working at heights, CACES, overhead crane operator, etc.)

Ensure that installations, machines and equipment comply with regulations.

Develop a safety culture among all staff.

Develop and maintain a security plan for the company.

Managing chemical risks: SDS management, REACH, chemical containment/handling

Managing fire risk: Contacting organizations, managing fire equipment, training

 

Quality :

Develop, implement and update the quality management system (QMS) adapted to our activity.

Supervise quality control of raw materials, finished products and manufacturing processes.

Organize internal quality audits, write reports and manage corrective action plans.

Ensure compliance with current standards and certifications (FSC, PEFC, CE, CTB, Bois de France…) and monitor regulatory developments applicable to our field of activity.

Participate in the management of customer complaints and the resolution of non-conformities.

Structuring working methods and supporting internal processes

To lead and implement continuous improvement across all services

Develop a culture of quality among all staff.

Qualify subcontractors and contribute to the drafting of specifications.

Monitor and manage customer and supplier disputes, establish a corrective action plan and ensure the effectiveness of the actions taken.

 

Environment

To ensure the management of environmental issues.

Define and implement an environmental policy aimed at limiting the ecological impact of our activities (waste management, emission reduction, choice of sustainable materials, etc.)

Ensure compliance with local and national environmental regulations.

Raising awareness among teams about environmental issues and biodiversity

Communicating with relevant organizations and ensuring good relationships

 

Hygiene

Ensure compliance with hygiene protocols in the workshop and on construction sites (cleanliness of premises, waste management, air quality control, etc.).

Implement and manage various actions related to hygiene and working conditions

 

Group communication

Key contact person with the group

Participation in group meetings on CSR topics

Complete the deliverables requested by the group

 

Animation and training:

Design and organize regular training sessions on QHSE procedures, adapted to all members of the company.

Energize meetings and awareness workshops to encourage active participation and develop a shared QHSE culture.

Supporting the integration of new employees by introducing them to QHSE procedures and ensuring follow-up on their training.

 

 

Profile

Your profile

  • You have a qualification in the field of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE).

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.

  • Ideally, you have already supervised or managed a team.

  • You are used to communicating with relevant organizations and authorities such as the DREAL, the CARSAT or other regulatory bodies.

  • You are proficient in the preparation, monitoring and execution of audits (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSC, etc.).

  • Ideally, you have worked on an industrial site subject to authorization or falling under ICPE regulations.

  • You are recognized for your rigor, your organizational skills and your ability to unite teams around QHSE issues.
